CARJACKING, 9500 block of Virginia Center Boulevard, 08/26/15 at about 12:52 a.m. The victim met the suspect through a social media website and agreed to meet at the Vienna Metro. After meeting, they drove to the victim’s residence, interacted, and then drove to the area of Virginia Center Boulevard and Centerboro Drive. At this point, the suspect requested a ride home but the victim refused. The suspect became irate, assaulted the victim and removed the keys from the ignition of the vehicle. The victim exited the vehicle and the suspect fled in the victim’s 2010 Chevy Tahoe. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as black, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, had long hair (dreads), tattoos on both arms and wearing a gray shirt, black pants and a black hat.
Apart from that, it was crime filled couple of days in Fairfax.
ROBBERY, 2400 block of Fairhaven Avenue, 08/27/15 at about 3 a.m. Two men approached two employees and a customer in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven store. The suspects displayed handguns, demanded money, and then ordered them to walk into the store. The suspects took cash from the registers and fled. The victims did not require medical attention. The suspects were described as black, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing dark clothing and ski masks covering their faces.
ROBBERY, Lawrence Street/Saint Annes Court, 08/27/15 at about 9:36 p.m. The victim was at a bus stop and was approached by a man. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect took property and money and fled. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was described as black, 20s, wearing a black bandana and a black hat.
BURGLARY WITH APPREHENSION, 4100 block of Braddock Road, 08/27/15 at about 7:26 p.m. Officers were called out to Parklawn Elementary School for a burglary alarm. Officers located the suspects and arrested them. Trequan R. Smith, 19, of Alexandria, was charged with receiving stolen property. Petitions for a 12 year-old male juvenile will be obtained who was released to his parents.
BURGLARY/STOLEN VEHICLE, 7000 block Stone Inlet Drive, 08/26/15. A resident reported someone entered their open garage, found keys to two cars in the garage and stole them. One of the cars was recovered in Washington, D.C.
A sense a running theme here with these crimes. Hmmm...
