There has been one around Ft Belvoir for the past few weeks. Probably transporting someone.

Zero anything unusual about this. Yes the V22 is an incredibly big and crazy looking beast. The first time I saw one in person was driving past Davidson Army Airfield a very low flying V22 was circling the runway with its wings vertical. Freaked me the F out I thought it was an Fing UFO at first nearly ran off the road. Got a good close look at this monster for nearly a full minute. What an intimidating beast! Still its meant to be essentially a Chinook that can haul ass at great altitude when wings are horizontal. Carries a sh*t ton of gear and troops and can be used for countless things. Remember the CIA has its own airbase that includes even F22 Raptors so just some hightech spookery going on tax dollars well spent....

I have noticed the V-22 flying low over the Potomac at least 5 times this summer. Usually it occurs in the morning around 9am and I see it between Georgetown and Chain Bridge. I am sure its a big wig military using it for transportation to the CIA because Cars and traffic are for little people...

Saw it land at Bolling yesterday, then later flying over 495 near the mixing bowl.

Don't stand under one those fucking things if it's aloft.

They crash constantly.
