Fairfax Burger King - Remodel or New Resturant?

So the Fairfax City Burger King is closed and under FULL a full remodel.

The Burger King sign is still out on the street, however, I am not convinced that Burget King is going to be sticking around based on how aged the stores are and how little traffic they seem to have.

I am hearing the Falls Church BK is going to be closing soon and the propery may be used for a retirment home.

Even the BK in Annandale looks a bit old and tired, but this one seems to have more traffic than the other FFX BK's.

Not sure how much traffic the Chantilly BK has, but this is the nicest looking store in the area that I have seen.

Anyone know if the King will be sticking around in FFX?

I know its been there all my life. Has it ever been remodeled since the 60's?

Yes, it was remodeled in the 90s to the 50s-60s aqua & pink diner-vibe thing it had going on. Before that it had a, darker brown/black/orange décor and a different layout.

They need to remodel it so it looks like the office for a mortgage lender. More people are used to walking in to get a home equity loan than get a juicy flame-broiled burger and dry greaseless french fries.

I recall the 50's-60's theme back in the 90's as well.

I will miss the Falls Church Burger King.

Wendy's burgers are not bad and the fries are better. The Wendy's in the West Falls Church Outlet Center (Safeway, BB&T) is not that far from the now closed Burger King.

Hurry on down to Hardee's. Nearest one is Stafford. Nothing on Fairfax County.
