The Pure Pasty Company makes really tasty meat pies, at least until we have the meals tax.
Bikes@Vienna is a pretty solid and customer-oriented bike shop, but you can sort of tell they're hardcore about how cars may be the spawn of the devil and should eventually be abolished. (At least that's how they seem to me) So 1/2 a point off for that one.

The W&OD runs right through it. There are a couple of decent bike shops, if you need a new tube or a bit of mechanical assistance. There are numerous places to get a bite to eat around the intersection of the W&OD and Maple Ave.

There will be two Open Houses in November. On Saturday, the 12th, as usual from 1:00 to 5:00, and then on Monday, November 28, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, concurrent with the Vienna Holiday Stroll. All aboard!

The library is actually pretty great. Devoid of any homeless people whatsoever, extremely competent staff. Highly recommend it.

The 24x7 gridlock keeps traffic slow enough that no one could ever be in a serious car accident.

Living in Dunn Loring, I drive to or through Vienna a lot. Like everywhere else, traffic is bad during rush hour. Otherwise, it's not likely to be a problem.
