I am going to introduce you to the Mr. Khalil Abdul Rasheed he is a fireman at the Fairfax County fire department. As you can see from his posts below he thinks his merry group of thugs should start putting police officers in the ground. That doesn’t sound appropriate does it.

Let’s put it into perspective. “Hey stop the cop haters fans, lets start killing firemen, all they ever save is the foundation to the house anyways”. Now how would that fly with your department if you posted something like that on an open Facebook group? You would probably be fired.

Khalil was posting in a thread started by Matthew which calls for violence. It was posted on a the page called ” film the police “. Another of the so called accountability pages that are filled with anti police hated and threats. If he wants accountability then fine, be accountable for your words. Contact the Fairfax County Fire Department and let them know we don’t potential cop killers working for them.

Contact the county yourself, you anonymous coward...

The Fire dept. won't do anything about this. This guy has been it trouble before and the county hugs him for the sake of diversity. Sounds more like a promotion is in his future.

The Washington Post reported the story and included this comment... “The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department will not tolerate committing or inciting violence against law enforcement officers,” Fire Chief Richard R. Bowers Jr. wrote in a statement.

I hope Chief Bowers follows through on this. A firefighter and anyone in an EMS position knows full well that "body bags" are for the deceased.

I do not want this man showing up on a call at my home, in my neighborhood, in this county or any other county with his blatant disrepect for human life. He should not be in a position to make life and death decisions.

Chief Bowers, there is no way this is anything but an example of inciting violence toward police officers. Do the right thing, please.

This person's race or religion should not stop him from being held accountable for his own words.

Ask about him spray painting KKK years ago on the dumpster at West Springfield fire station 427 and then reporting that someone was making racist threats against African Americans. He was caught on video by the attached police station and nothing was done!!!

Stop with the gory pics. This isn't about the man's religion or his race. It's about the fact that he's calling for cops in body bags while he's in the position to run calls to cop's homes or cop's injured on duty.

You can't wish death upon cops and tell people to "punch" them and "use force" and then be put in the position of making life and death decisions for them as an EMT.

He needs to be removed from his position, not transferred, not retired. Removed.

So I feel the need to respond this whole thing. For one, I am not going to vouch or defend Khalil's statements. What I will do, however, is defend the sanctity of our profession, and the professionalism of public safety.

Khalil did what he did, and he will get whatever is coming to him (legally, civilly, or professionally). Where my disappointment sets in is with the slander for ALL others like him. I am not a Muslim, but I do respect the religion and the right to practice. We, as US citizens, have the right to practice, much like the right to bear arms and freedom of speech (that we, by the way, throw around on a regular basis). Regardless, its HIS choice to act in the manner in which he has. He will pay.

Secondly, while I don't agree with all choices and outcomes in our organization, I can tell you that it is better than in previous years. Some of you wont agree, and that is not what I expect. What I do expect is for us to pull our shit together and refrain from suggestions of violence. Leave that to the animals, otherwise, your no better than him.

We need to refrain from suggesting that our organization is a bunch of dogs. Keep in mind that the public sees this, including our fellow brothers and sisters in the Police Department. Few have mentioned them! We now have a trust issue on our hands and we need to repair that. No one in the Massey can or will do that, its the folks in the street. Shake a cops hand the next time you see one of them.

Lastly, we all have our problems. What we don't need is a race/religion/freedom of speech war that makes us as public safety anymore of a target than we already are (virtually or physically).

I'm tired of cops taking shits at my station.

Very touching. So why wasn't this fuckstick fired when he painted "KKK" on the damn station dumpster (being a fuckstick, he didn't realize there was a security camera in the area) and claimed it was racial harassment. He was treated with kid gloves.

I'm not with your department but couldn't help posting after seeing this shit on my facebook feed from one of my LEO friends. If the county/city won't do anything how about some additional pressure from the office of EMS. After being caught painting KKK on a dumpster to insight racial problems with in the deparmtent/community and the statements about LEO's I certainly wouldn't trust him to provide unbiased medical care. He needs to be watched closely and anyone can make an anonymous complaint. Here's the VA code:

12VAC5-31-1020. Discrimination in provision of care.
EMS personnel may not discriminate in the provision of emergency medical services based on race, gender, religion, age, national origin, medical condition or any other reason.

He'll be running around on Service 1 or Service 2 delivering toilet paper to the many houses.

It is a shame that we are so worried abouut discrimination and the freedom of speech that we have forgot the preservation of life. Once you become a public service worker it is your responsibility to be professional. This man had demonstrated that he no longer wants to be a public service worker. In my department we vow to provide a service of saving lives not taking them. I will keep him and his family in prayer because this is the kind of mess that will incite a riot. Everyone has there own options but keep this kind of stuff to yourself.

How about the fact he is an Isis supporter/sympathizer?

Come on Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, give us an update. The citizens of this county want assurance that this person will not be part of the team on calls made to our homes.

What's really sad is that the department would not have done a thing to him if someone hadn't leaked it to Dave Statter. Remember the last time he posted about the Charlie Hebdo killings and how he praised the murderers and called for more beheadings. The powers that be knew and didn't do a damn thing. Because this is now out in the media and the villagers are threatening them with their pitchforks is something going to be done. Meanwhile, he remains on administrative leave collecting his paycheck. Fact: This guy had a face book page that showed support for ISIS. Fact- he did paint KKK on the fire station in Springfield then claimed the white man was harassing him, and tried to start a race war in the department. Fact- Everyone in the Department was personally sent a letter from the Chief of the Department that said they WOULD get to the bottom of it and they would hold the guilty accountable, then they found out it was a black guy and turned their heads. Fact- The Department allows him to carry his rug on the firetrucks so he can stop and point west whenever he wants. Fact- He has called for fighting cops, and putting them in body bags. Fact- This man does not respect the woman in the department because its against his religion. Fact- The Department also has a black Captain that has very recently carved the words "Kill Whitey" on the fire house table. Fact- Department didn't suspend him or demote him. Fact- The Department allowed another individual to steal controlled medications from an unconscious patient and lie about it. This man finally lost his job only after someone dropped a dime to VA Dept of EMS and his license to practice as an EMT was taken away.

Rumor- The Department has known about the "Put cops in body bags" statement for months and did nothing. So is this true? Why did the Department allowed the "Kill Whitey" carving. I am not against the black man or the Muslim, however, the double standard is killing me. What if I wrote White Power or put something despicable on my face book about bring out the noose and hanging some black people. A firefighter shows up for work drunk and the Union gets them to keep their job by attending the FRD AA meetings at the Massey and they get to keep their job. This has happened numerous times.

Firefighters screw around with their coworkers spouses and may get a demotion but usually nothing. A volunteer sucks and fucks her way through the Greater Springfield Volunteer Fire Department and nobody takes action against the career staff not against the volunteer, allowing them to stay on the Board of Directors. You can do anything in this department and get away with it.

People who work in public safety are weird.

I see a different bottom line here. This guy could run a call at your house, place of work or an accident you have.

If it's time to pray he can refuse to treat you in order to pray. If you are femalre or you have a mother, wife, girlfriend, daughter he may treat them differently because of their gender.

While he is entitled to his beliefs just as much as anyone else is, when those beliefs keep him from doing his job as a first responder that is a problem... for the people he treats.

Not really. This is a department who historically has done nothing for people who have broken the rules and acted in a manner which by societal standards would be found reprehensible. Promotions and other rewards such as entry to paramedic school or cushy jobs with less work and more pay are more likely than disciplinary actions.

You can get away with almost anything.... I saw a chick get fired from the academy for borrowing shoes. Maybe she wouldnt fuck the brass.
