Someone how mount Vernon high high school needed 7 more student to pass the sol test and some how they did! The math sol scores for mount Vernon high school are now at 69.56=70% to do rounding! I don't know how they did it. Since they scores where at 69% on 7-13.

Original scores from vdoe was 69.06 but some how the new results for this weeks says they are at 69.56% this is not fair at at all! I hate ms. King so much

This shows you what a failure Menville "Flip" Flippen is. Despite his big screens, horse stories and social contracts, MVHS barely manages to pass. Any school hiring Flippen should get at least 80-85 or Flippen gives them a refund.

The worse thing is that she not going to get promoted or fired. This is the only school that got extra point from the last report sheet. I don't think is fair

After looking at the data from July 13,2015 and July 24, 2015. Mount Vernon High School is the only school THAT had 20 additional yes 20 additional Sol test. taken from July 13 to July 24, and some how they all all passed. 90% of school had the same test numbers....
A couple school added up to 4 new student took an sol and passed it. I think 20 is way 0ver the top. Too bad It won't let me save that data sheet so I can show it to you. and THe BITCH wins cause her sols scores will be the same as all other schools but she should of had the lowest MATH SOL SCORES IN FCPS

Same funny business at Bailey's with the scores. They gave so many alternative assessments, its' unreal! Hundreds were given! This isn't even the real SOL test==and to get 100% pass rate on all of the alternative assessments,,,,,yep, funny business to make it look good. Thats not turning around a school, its just playing with the numbers. GARZA---WAKE UP!! They are pulling the wool over you and causing you great embarrassment for those of us who know the real deal.

sDon't forget that SOLS exams in a whole are a joke. They only need to get 50% F in order to pass the Exam.. I emailed the VDOE about this incident not sure what they will say I will post the info when I get it. I just can't sit and shut up when I see something like this.

I do not know exactly the reason for the jump in passing rate for Mount Vernon High School. I suggest that you contact the Alexandria Division Director of Testing (Clinton Page) if you have specific questions.
I can tell you that school divisions are still able to code student data up to the date the school division requests ATP. After ATP is requested their data is locked and they cannot make corrections. The ATP deadline was July 24. So it is quite possible they were still coding student data after the first report.
After ATP a school division can request record changes, where VDOE would make the record change for them. That would also affect accountability ratings.
