I had an IEP went I went to High School. I am going to attend NVCC in the fall and I want to know what kind of special accommodations will I get?

This is the wrong place to come for educational advice. This board is filled with racist assholes who are angry a minority who makes just enough if not more money has moved into there neighborhood.

I don't believe IEP services follow you into college. 504 plans can. It's up to you to advocate for yourself. It would be wise not to expect the world outside of high school to do it for you once those years are done - so you should ask the college.

If you have a hard time in school consider learning a trade as an apprentice or something along those lines.
Get paid to learn a valuable skill instead of paying to earn a worthless degree.

As for special accommodations, have you heard that Special Olympics is offering internships to aspiring students such as yourself? Your IEP will go far in obtaining placement for you!

If you had an IEP in FCPS AND are going to NVCC this fall..your high school guidance counselor screwed you over..there is a program at Nova called Pathways. Your counselor should have told you about the program and encouraged you to apply. This program helps LD students.

Most colleges now have programs for Special Ed students. It's called African-American Studies.
