you can't judge it by visiting this website. It's far less racist when you live in the real world and interact with people.

I guess that most people on this website are socially inept individuals. It clearly shows.

We have been over this many times. The urban dictionary sums it up.

Fairfax county Virginia:
A detestable suburban backwater of America's lame, bland and culturally vacant capital. Filled with characterless subdivisions populated with characterless people and the poor immigrants that serve them, this place is so utterly conventional and uninteresting that it actually makes Westchester, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey look like they aren't cultural wastelands. Fairfax doesn't suck simply because it lacks museums and "culture"--this is to be expected of any suburb. It sucks because the city it borders sucks. That city sucks because it is the center of government, and to be successful in government, one must be as uncontroversial (hence, boring, conventional) as possible. Any individual considering giving birth and raising children should realize that forcing them to grow up in Fairfax will stunt them intellectually, emotionally, and aspirationally, for the rest of their lives.

Kid: "Why am I so bored that all I do all day is (smoke pot/drink/smoke cigarettes) and/or try to act like a (redneck or rap star)?

Wizened person: Because you live in Fairfax Virginia. Hope you at least get into college or something.

Childish response at best. I'll bet you can't remember the last time you could look down and see your toes.

I simply dislike the racial comments, people here will spew "nigger" this and "spic" that- but it is the Blacks and Hispanics working in all the service industry jobs that are making life easier for the upper class that are spewing this nonsense.

I would love to see a day where ALL service/blue collar people all around the USA (retail, sales, baristas, auto mechanics, general customer service, farmers, home maintenance people, etc) take a week off all at once and leave the "rich" people to fend for themselves.

They wouldn't last 48 hours with no one to "serve" them....they can't even brew their own coffee (see:Keurig machines) or wash their own car or clean their own house so they get a "lower class" person to do it- then want to come and scream racial insults at them and not even THANK them for their assistance in making their life easier...they hate us but at the end of the day they need us ;)

The reality of it all is that the middle class would do just fine. This place has become an "open door" for immigrants. Just look at who is attending the elementary and middle schools today and compare that to 20 years ago.

Compare that to a "normal" school in Kansas, Nebraska, or Iowa and you will see a 90% difference in the ethnic groups. This entire area has been overbuilt with condos, townhouses, and apartments. So who lives in these units besides the mom and dad and a couple of kids, well, thrown in a couple of cousins, grandma's and uncles. And that should help answer the "new reality" issue of Fairfax county.

Close the McDonald's and other services that are really simple to maintain and yes, the middle class majority would do just fine. We could all go back to drinking water and have no need for coffee whatsoever. You are giving these low level immigrants too much credit.

Real estate developer: You are mostly right with your comments about D.C. They have let these liberal voting scumbags override our fine county. And all these foreigners have taken away grant money from our universities.

That's a wrap.

I can't believe I'm actually agreeing with you.

I've been saying it for some time now. TURN OFF YOUR DAMN TV'S and go out and talk to your neighbors. You'll see that black guy, he doesn't want to kill you. That White and Hispanic guy, they don't want to steal from you. It's the media that inflames us all with their brainwashing agenda turning us against each other

A. It won't happen
B. The service people go to mcdonalds, walmart, gas stations, and everywhere else for goods and services so they would be fucked too
C. It's easy to make coffee at home, even without a keurig. Ground coffee and hot water isn't rocket science.
D. We don't hate you. We just know that your lack of customer service isn't worth what you're making, much less $15/hr.
E. If the service people are legal, paying taxes, and don't expect others to fund their lives, that's fine by me.
F. Minimum wage was not designed to be a lifelong aspiration. Stop having babies and do something to move up in the world.

Hey jkjhfg: I agree with most of what you posted. But the big problem is that several of these workers are living 9 to a house with 6 cars out front.
That needs to be enforced.

This. The problem isn't so much on the income side. It's on the having 3 kids by age 20 and dropping out of school and not being able to do anything because of them side.

It won't happen because as long as we have enough money and are willing to pay for services, there will be someone willing to provide them.

That's the American way.

And to the OP, Fairfax County is far more racist than what you see on Fairfax Underground. It permeates every aspect of our lives: schools, businesses, recreation. That's because the various races continue to earn and reinforce their stereotypes.

The difference here is that we can acknowledge reality anonymously, where as saying what I just wrote above for attribution would get me lynched.

Fairfax is more racist than people think. I've lived here my whole life, and am certain that a vast majority of my friends use the words 'nigger' and 'Spic' more than any other swear words. We just don't do it publicly bc we were raised to be afraid of telling the truth.

The truth is that Tysons Corner has seen a 70% increase in theft and burglary since the metro connected it to D.C. Those aren't young white kids running through the mall, shoplifting and fighting and having fights in the parking lot. The truth is that the Baltimore riots were a bunch of nigs trying to get free stuff. The truth is that Asians are TERRIBLE FUCKING DRIVERS! I'm sorry that the truth isn't politically correct, doesn't make it less true. Virginia, Fairfax and this country are racist bc there's a clear fucking difference between the races and we aren't allowed to talk about it.

I've lived in Fairfax my entire life (since 1967), and my experience is that the Democrat party is by far the most racist party of folk there is.

And, my Black friends agree.

The Democrats treat Blacks as pieces of a puzzle, that they need to put together to win elections.

But once Democrats win elections, they treat Blacks like shit.

My Black friends, and I, invite all hard working Blacks, Whites, Yellows, Greens, Reds, etc., to vote Conservative. That does not necessarily mean Republican, because a lot of Republicans are boobs.

But Democrats are just plain wrong. They don't care about hard working folk. They only care about winning elections. Then, the relegate Blacks to live in piss-poor, crime-ridden, rat-infested, urine-smelling, housing.

And, then, the Democrats claim that they are the working men's party.

What a joke.

Vote Conservative in 2016, and kick out all the Democrat jokers.

Going on record to disagree with OP and all such negative attitude-afflicted persons. If it's that bad you have choices. Here are a few: the political process; start a business and create the change you say you want to see; community organization; further your education so that you can move into better-paying/more influential positions. You can also load up the car and go someplace with a culture more suited to your personality.

Fairfax County in a nutshell:

If you're working a "Corporate" white collar job- all is well and you live comfortably, probably in a single family home or "upscale" townhouse/apartment community. The neighborhood is probably majority white/asian, and you only see a few blacks and hispanics in your neighborhood, but they are peaceful too so it's no problem.

If you're trying to make a career out of retail/service industry- you are probably poor as those wages won't get you much on your own. You are forced to live amongst lower-class hispanics/blacks/indians/those who make as much as you do or much less and you are upset you can't afford to live with the "corporate" workers- so you come on here and call all your neighbors bad words.

In the end it is up to YOU to make enough money to live in a nicer community. YOU CAN ONLY BLAME YOURSELF if you can't afford it..

You could have went to college, joined the military and taken advantage of the GI bill, learned a trade like HVAC, Plumbing, etc, got certified in IT or another hot field, and be making the money to afford the nicer community- but you didn't so here you are living with the lower class people you hate so much....and you take it out on this board.

If you want to change the channel, CHANGE IT YOURSELF. Otherwise SHUT THE FUCK UP and DEAL WITH IT. You want out, do something to make more money so you CAN afford the nicer areas. Otherwise, you made your bed YOU lie in it, just because you are not a minority doesn't mean you get an automatic free pass to the nicer neighborhoods, you have to WORK FOR IT. :|

OP. My personal experience with racism has been with entitled blacks and to a lesser degree hispanics. There are some white jackasses at their too, mostly liberals, but this is my personal experience. Been living in the county 17 years.
