I'm moving to Arlington this weekend. I'll only be about a mile east of the FX Co. line, so I'm close. I'll probably eventually move back out here but I figure Arlington's a little more kickin' for a 24-year old. Don't let the County get out of hand while I'm gone.

Yeah it's called FAIRFAX underground but only because the original feature of this site was the arrest list search, which is Fairfax County specific.

I actually registered NoVAUnderground.com as well, but that doesn't sound as cool. And don't get all excited, novaunderground.com just points back to here.

Actually, I think it is funny that VA is thinking of making the people of Tysons pay for the new Metro tunnel. Maybe the people of NoVA should refuse to pay for fucking four-lane roads in BFE southern Virginia. Just see how many paved streets you get when you rely only on the tax base of Crewe, VA. Fucking state legislators.

I think it is funny that VA is thinking of making the people of Tysons pay for the new Metro tunnel.

Ya rly, srsly ROTFLMAO when I realized that I might have to pay for a tunnel that I will most likely never use. Why the fuck should local Tysons residents pay for this thing, when it mostly will be used by people from other locales going to Dulles, or people travelling to Tysons, or people who live in western FFX going in toward DC. Total Fucking Nonsense.

I think what they are going to do is create a business tax from from all the companies along the corridor of the metro. private citzens don't have to pay, only businesses along the line who stand to profit from the increase of non driving commuters/consumers being brought to tysons via the metro

Yeah but I still gotta buy food, gas, clothing, services, etc. from those local businesses, so we'll still be footin' the bill indirectly. I just think the new line will be convenient enogh for the folks who will be using that they probably wouldn't mind kicking in an extra dime or two per ride; make the people who use it pay for it.

Hey we, could just have no stations in TC and put it above ground. Since its not stopping there, we don't care if it ties up the traffic while we build it. We'll never be in the traffic: we'll be over it.
