Southerners can not make decent barbecue...

Up in the north, they cook barbecue in the microwave, so it doesn't get that burned, smokey aftertaste that plagues southern barbecue. I wish barbecue joints in NoVa would get with the times, and start microwaving the stuff. It's so tasty, you'll never go back to the 'traditional' method of cookery.

As any Hawaiian could tell you, to make decent barbecue you have to kill a pig, cover it, and cook it all day in a hole in the ground. Anything else is just wrong.
