Recommendation for vehicle rust repairs

I have an old ford with rust developing around one of the rear wheel wells. Any recommendations for a body shop close to Fairfax that will do a good job at a good price?

My goto autobody place has always been Vienna Autobody. They may be a little pricey however.

Good rust repair is not cheap. To repair it correctly, the old metal needs to be cut out and replaced. You're probably looking at a minimum of $1,500.

And then once you get one panel replaced, another is sure to show signs of cancer within a few short months. Or you'll get a call from the body shop to come look at the cark while its on the rack showing you all the cancer that you need to fix...

Just sell it to a latino and buy a new car...

Now if its a bonafide classic then you have obligation to fix to it...

Time and nature taking it's course. If you have one area visible then you have more in other stages. Everything and everyone has a life span.

You said "Old Ford". Are we talking something like a car like a Falcon, Mustang, or Fairlane from the late 60's? Or a 1983 Ford Granada?

The sun is gonna explode is a few billion years. I don't think your truck is going to survive that.

there will be ice ages, super volcanos, and comet his ALLOT sooner than that

and oil will run out if "nothing is done" sooner than polititians are saying

they're handing out tax money to build roads and cities for expansion to ensure their families are in charge

all the while knowing there is no room for expanding waste while a looming issue of oil running out is just around the corner

Try Pope's auto body, on draper drive.
Ask to speak with Mr Pope, you may have to go in on a Saturday around noon for him not to be swamped.

He guarantees his body work for life, so if it starts to rust again, he'll fix it free. He was able to match paint on a 28 year old car perfectly.

^ This. Other than in rare cases, if there's significant rust there, then there's significant rust elsewhere. Not worth fixing usually vs selling. May be some other circumstances that you might want to but doesn't make sense money-wise in most cases.

Even in the case of a classic rarely is it worth fixing just one spot. As far as valuable cars you're still usually better off selling it as is and letting somebody else take the hit on the money that needs to be put into it. Dump it and look for one that some poor schmuck already has sunk too much money into that they'll never get back. Some exceptions to that but that's the usual way that it works better.

the politically rich in fairfax have religiously fired whites and asians and replaced them with mexicans in area dealerships.

they took mechanic pay for whites from 1/2 of the $90/hr (which soon became >$100/hr) to MINIMUM WAGE. that's less than $13,000 for a LONG year of labor.

at the same time, county mechanics get $45,000+ / yr. , slow business or not. THAT'S NOT INCLUDING MANY MANY FRINGE BENEFITS NOR REGULAR (ie medical) benefits.

they are firing white county mechinics far faster than replacing , making all county maintenance run by mexican (drug lords) and other fucking foreigners

a (somewhat wealthy) American private business owner in fairfax who i often talked to told me this:

that because area dealers were stiffing customers and mechanics and keep money they didn't earn:

he was thinking of selling his business. the only people WHO HAD ANY purchasing power were government ... and they were setting themselves up to buy direct from the factory (a fucking foreign one) to cut him out
