Anyone know if that mansion is occupied and what the value of that land is?
I've never seen any cars parked or lights on.

It is owned by a wealthy Korean family.

There is a more recent house behind it on the property where the family actually lives.

Supposedly the Brimstone Mansion is haunted, if you believe that stuff.

Interesting history:

BURKE’S STATION became the center of life in the Burke area. At Burke Lake Road and Ox Road was Brimstone Hill, a house known as Arundel’s Farm during the Civil War. Its inhabitants were the Arundels, Union sympathizers in the midst of many Confederate families. In April 1865, Arundels gave information to Federal troops about a Confederate cavalry force moving toward Burke’s Station. Brimstone Hill was also the site of the last Civil War skirmish in Fairfax County.

Brimstone Hill dates to circa 1820. In 1839, Charles Arundel purchased the twelve-acre property and acquired a license to operate a tavern. In 1848, the tavern became a polling place for elections. In 1850, Arundel enlarged the building to include an inn and a store, which thrived until the latter part of the nineteenth century. During the Civil War, Confederate raider, John Arundel, was killed on his family property and buried there. The building stands at Burke Lake Road and Route 123 in Fairfax Station, Virginia.
