Texting while driving is a primary offense

Also as of July 1, texting while driving is a primary offense with increased penalties. Texting or reading text messages while driving is illegal for all drivers, no matter their age. Currently, texting while driving is a secondary offense and can only be charged when the offender is stopped for another, separate offense.

As of July 1st 2015 this is a new VA law, Breastfeeding is now legal anywhere the mother is lawfully present.

As of July 1 it is now legal, if you find a semi driving in anything other than the right-most lane, to drag the driver out of the cab and give him the full Reginald Denny treatment.

So breastfeeding while driving is ok as long as the baby isn't texting?

Good! Too many idiots with their face buried in their phones instead of driving. It should be a felony cause it's just as dangerous as drunk driving in my opinion.

VA Police have stated that such a law is too difficult to enforce .. and that was regarding cell phone use in general text or speaking while driving.

So the law stands, but will not be enforced, unless of course, there is an accident, and there's evidence of cell phone use @ time of accident. Then I suppose there will be a citation.
