Between 20-30 people trying to rope/zipline from Montgomery County to VA/Great Falls area over the Potomac. Started around 10 pm, still going on.

FCPD, FCPD, US Park, MCPD, MCFD, US Park Helicopter, FFX Helicopter all involved with this stupidity.

Not sure what these idiots were thinking with the river so high and running so fast after all the rain.

Crazy amount of resources being deployed and now there are officers lost in the woods trying to find trails in the dark and chasing suspects.

If nobody drowns or dies tonight it will be a miracle.

I guess these folks might be Darwin Award nominees.

Everyone's tax dollars hard at work for a bunch of stupid people.

I'm surprised at all the activities on the Potomac. I was hiking the other day and came across a group of teenagers skinny dipping in the middle of the day in the Potomac. Granted I was on a side trail and not a well traveled trail but who skinny dips in the middle of the day on the Potomac?

I was but I wasn't prancing around naked in public.

But hey, with roles models like Miley Sirus and every teenage pop star posting more and more shocking naked pics of themselves... I guess teenagers don't care if they are seen naked these days.

I might just be old and out of with the younger generation.

Do not take any pictures. If the teens are under 18, then you are dealing in child porn and will likely be labeled a sexual offender/predator.

You could claim thaty they are in the Potomac on public property where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy. Since most women shave their cooters today, you had no way of knowing that hairless girl was underage. Being naked, they of course don't have pockets to carry an ID card to prove they are over 18.

Skinny dipping. It's not new. You're just a prude.
