Cheap Labor
Posted by: ConsideredFXResident ()
Date: June 29, 2015 09:43PM

My new route in the morning involves driving along Little River Turnpike and I have noticed over the past few weeks that I have been going this direction there are a lot of Asians picking up Hispanics with what looks like for cheap labor. It happens every morning. Why is it so out in the open and allowed?

I'm probably going to regret responding to what's most likely a troll, but: why would it not be allowed?

they are illegal and shouldn't be hiring them or exploding them.

"exploding"?

White and black kids on summer break won't do manual labor. Might as well hire someone who is willing to do the work.

Honestly Id rathe have the illegals working than standing in lines looking for handouts, engaging in petty theft, or standing at intersections with carboard signs begging for money.

I'venot ever seen one hispanic person standing around beggingf or money. but I see plenty of Blacks and whites doing it..

Work ethic is gone.....

Has anyone ASKED the Black or White children if they WANT to work said jobs, or is it just ASSUMED by those looking for workers that they won't work???

I personally know of several teens in my neighborhood (black, white, and Asian) who are looking for jobs....but get turned down in favor of one of the immigrants.

I personally have a Black teen neighborhood kid cutting my grass every week and he does a GREAT job. I pay him in cash and pay him WELL. I did not ASSUME he did not want to work as he approached my door with mower and trimmer in hand one day....most of the other neighbors wouldn't even open their door to speak with him (too scared???)...shows how much they care!!!

Well, I know we don't come to FFXU for english/grammar lessons. I do try to ensure the my spelling and punctuation are correct before I post. However, every now and again a mistake or two get by. For that I appologize.

While I'm sure you have good intentions on bringing to light a few of my mistakes, at least my comments make sense. I'm not sure what point you were trying to get across with your statement.

Kluxm- I have not had anyone come by my place asking for work. However I'm pretty stubborn and I tend to do all of my own work around the house, including cutting the grass, painting, mulching, ect. I have not ever hired any street workers that you could find at HD or the 7-11 in Herndon. Plus I have the added benefit of having a daughter that I can press gang into work from time to time.

There aren't any illegals on this planet...
Only illegal activity.
We are all people of God.

this is BS and an excuse. I hope you are not hiring these people b/c you are the reason they manage to stay here. BTW I see a lot of them sitting around not doing anything but drinking all day because it's so many of them that everyone can't be picked up for their cheap labor. It's disgusting. Something needs to be done. I know about 4 sites that are packed with illegals chasing down cars trying to either get work or maybe rob them I'm not sure.

The truth comes out: at first, an uninformed innocent query; now, a fully informed, motivated activist with an agenda.

a local contractor has been saving thousands by killing his hired help at the end of the job.

No. I'd deport them in a hot second.

I see K-Mart is closed. I had my eye on a Made in USA shotgun there for 20 years - know the price. Unfortunately I don't have even a home to hang one in. Just a place to put a gun rack all I got to my name.

Does democrat ny,ny run walmart sell sporting goods?

Gone are all the local rising junior/senior high schoolers and college kids of all colors who were off on summer break and willing to work.

I spent many summers of the 80s painting houses and garages, mowing lawns, clearing out brush from yards, and the best summer job ever which was a steady gig on a masonry crew. I learned a work ethic, the value of a dollar, and the fact I didn't want to dig ditches for a paycheck forever. Saved up a few thousand by the every summer which made for tons of fun at Tech with tuition partly paid by scholarship. And that cash on-hand helped get me out of college debt free.

If white and black folk aren't going to do it, someone has to. And Mexicans do fairly good work at the price-point as long as the job isn't too skilled, and they'll hustle. And although some of that untaxed cash does go back to Central America, it's also supporting children who were born here and will grow up fully bilingual. Kids that will have a automatic leg-up in getting any job they're qualified for and then go on to be productive American taxpayers...hopefully.

White kids are setting themselves up for failure thinking that they're too good and/or privileged for manual labor.

Truly disgusting blaming today's white kids for being underbid by illegal black market labor that didn't exist until ~15 years ago.

Truly repulsive, and a selfish, self-deluded way to excuse the guilt that you cynical losers must feel...

If you put the information out there that their are labor jobs to be had...you would not only get white and black teens interested you would also get adult white and black men interested. The bottom line is that these people that hire illegals are doing so because they want the cheapest labor possible but these are the same people complaining about people entering the country illegally. It's all fucked up.
