FHS Summer school

I am currently attending an NEW course over the summer. Today I drove by Fairfax High School at around 2 PM and I noticed a lot of students and a lot of school buses leaving FHS. MY Guidance counselor told me that only students that failed classes can take classes on campus classes the rest are "online".... My questions is there where over 400 students and over 10 buses. How many students failed a class or did my counselor lied to me?

Summer school is only run at certain sites.. so, those students you see are not only from FHS, but from many schools around the area, all being sent to FHS even if that isn't their regular school. I did a summer school class back in the 90's at West Springfield, even though I went to Robinson

or could it be the City's summer camp program for teens which goes to different amusement/water parks, etc. every other day of the week?
