Does anyone know the name, or original name, of the sad little shopping center at Old Keene Mill and Rolling Roads across from the Cardinal Forest Shopping Center?

We should start a revitalization experiment.

Everyone try to visit a store in West Spring Plaza on July 3rd! Give the poor long-suffering shops a little business before Independence Day :)

Are you talking about the "plaza" where Jaxx is, and the Einstein Bagels and 7-11? There are only like 2 gas stations, a drycleaner and 2 or 3 other businesses in there. It doesn't seem like it qualifies as a shopping center, more like a few buildings. No banks or drug stores, lol.

I've heard people call it Jay's West Springfield for a long time. So that is what I've always called it.

I went there. All they had was made in asia made in pakistan stuff - imported by NY,NY franchises.

All they had was city pants, city shirts, undies ($40/pack??), city shoes, pots, pans, coffee makers, watches, watches, bougeoise furniture.

Americn Outfitters or any store - not a thing in the mall made in usa.

Also a total waste of time. Used to be you could go to the mall and really find things - about anything except what you needed to be at a specialty shop to find. Boots. Goulashes. Fishing gear. Sports equipment. Common Tools. Allot.

I'm thinking I may begin shopping another way. Total waste of time unless your looking for: city pants, or fancy pants, city shirt or fancy shirt, useless things you don't really need to start with - coffee maker aside.

If i shopped online I'd find what I needed immediately and could choose made in USA when appropriate - not when NY,NY backstabbers "say i can".

What I dont' understand is how these TOTAL POSERS came to claim ownership of "the malls of America". They don't do crap but push fancy pants there's NO WAY IN HELL they had to money to buy out all the real estate and push USA off the shelf unless ...

Unless they did terrorist attacks on financial institutes and also are counterfeiters.

No damn way crap clothing that has to be shipped across seas "wins" over the Malls that used to be there.

And no damn way that crap is paying bills either. Can't be. Didn't before and if it is now they're printing the money they are selling shit.

By the Jaxx was the first Chesapeake Bay Seafood I ever went to was. AYCE crab legs were about 15.95.It may have been the first one they opened. It was before they opened in Fairfax City. Then it became a spaghetti place.
