Great Falls Wachavia Just Robbed - Reston Bank Robber?

The Great Falls Wachovia was just robbed. Hummm.... A Friday at about 11am? This sounds alot like the Reston Bank robber.

Five bucks says this guy vaulted the counter, black 5-8, kachi pants. I was thinking it was about time for him to strike again.

Yeah, at first I thought this guy was some kid. Now I'm think he may have worked in a bank and knows the system well. He likes BB&T and Wachovia, wonder what they have in common?

Fridays and Saturdays is there more cash in the drawers?

I've never worked in a bank, but that seems logical. I bet a lot of people go to the bank on their lunch break on Fridays to deposit their paycheck. I can't verify this because I've had direct deposit since I began working full-time.

Definitely more money in the drawer. Fridays are a common payday and the majority of the people that come into the bank on Fridays are blue collar employees cashing checks not depositing them. I'm sure there is a limit the tellers should have in their drawer, but $2500 doesn't go far and I'd bet most tellers exceed their limit.

The 1st and 15th are common paydays for direct deposit folks. The military and some companies use those dates.

Personally, I think it was Gravis.

These are the two biggest bank chains around here that prohibit legal handgun carry by customers.

I am sure that this guy appreciates it -- much safer for him to rob to his heart's content.

That's why I've moved to another bank that respects 2nd Amendment rights.
