incident at the apple store

So TODAY i WENT to the apple store and they said I couldn't buy apple care cause I brought the iPHONE 6 4 months ago. I accidentally said "that is so gay" (didn't mean too) but the guy was gay and he didn't respond or say anything and i left do you think i hurt his felling should I say soory?
