When my oldest kids attend FCPS the kids never herd the National Anthem. When we moved to LCPS 4 years ago, I started hearing the national anthem at the start at the pep rallys at LCPS. why didn't FCPS played the Anthem? I love checking out my kids schools so I try attending all the pep rallys

Why? LCPS is much less political, they have less schools, less diversity, most of whom are not white in the county are affluent and have assimilated with american culture.

Also ONLY one high school in the whole system is minority majority (Park View HS), every other high school is at least 60% WASP. Loudoun still has farms and a certain conservative culture still in it, they celebrate America. They dont push for "gender-identity" like there eastern neighbor.

My kids have attended exactly 5 different FCPS schools in the last 10 years.

They all played the national anthem at virtually every major function and event. I was at one of the kids middle schools just this week for an awards ceremony and guess what - the national anthem was sung and they actually had a high school junior ROTC color guard there for the anthem. And this is a majority minority school.

Now it may be that not all schools do play the national anthem before a pep rally but that's no big deal imo. They play the national anthem before EVERY sporting event. I think you are making a bit much out of nothing. Why don't you politely ask the principal if they can re-introduce the national anthem at pep rallies?
Why not light a candle instead of cursing the darkness?
