Dazzling, Prince William County!

Going through Georgetown South and most of Manassas today, I have to say that even the worst parts of Fairfax County have better vibes than Prince William almost as a whole. Everything looks run-down and cheap, with abrasive urban poor/rednecks crawling all over. The huge vacant lots, strangely placed/abandoned homes, are fugly and unsettling to say the least. Most the businesses are typically vice-related, sprinkled in with no-name or bottom tier grocery stores. Sure its more wide-open with green space, but the traffic is virtually the same if not worse than Fairfax at times. Its all the worst aspects of this county combined into wider scale just to the south.

Report: FFXU blind sheeple hater suspect #205

Actions: Hating on PWC for no apparent reason

Alright, LOL. Have you even seen the nice parts of PWC? Gainesville, Bristow, Haymarket, very southern Manassas, eastern Manassas, new parts of Woodbridge/Dumfries, some of Lake Ridge. Even Yorkshire is good to an extent, but avoid Stone Ridge/Old Centreville Gardens/the Bull Run Trailer Park for sure. There are still parts of it that are quite white.

You were only skimming along the rim of the toilet bowl known as Fairfax.

Georgetown South is the crappist part of Manassas. Parts of Route 1 in southern Fairfax are just as bad.

Both counties have their good and bad points. I have lived in both counties and I prefer Prince William. PW has better schools and lower taxes as well as lower crime rate. Once I retire I plan to get out of NOVA completely as this entire region is not a great place to live.

Yorkshire is slowly but surely taking steps to improve itself.

I dont know about that but Yorkshire restaurant has the best breakfast in the area. It is so much better than any of those national chains like ihop or dennys.

Georgetown south was an early community in PWC. It actually used to be mostly inhabited by Caucasians who slowly started to move out. Some rent or sold the houses and slowly the neighborhood became run down. Once it started going down hill, prices dropped and a lot of poorer folks moved in. It is mostly a mix of African Americans and Hispanics now and from what I hear their racist towards each other is just as ripe as any others in the world. Anyways, I did drive through there the other day and compared to past years, it is starting to look better. Not great, but a definite improvement. PWC likes to hide the nicer parts of the county so the people passing through don't bother us.

Nope and nope. PW has 2 schools that are OK (Battlefield and Patriot) if you overlook the chronic suburban drug rings. And their property taxes are higher.
