What's the point of living in this area?

Recently I've been wondering...what the hell is the point of living in the DC area?

Everything in Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun, DC, MoCo, etc is ultra competitive and ultra expensive. Plus you pay top dollar for shit in this area. Paying for some shithole of a dump in the section 8 illegal infested part of Alexandra or Reston which could alternatively get you something much nicer in any area part of this dump of a country.

Not to mention any other area in our nation you could get all the benefits( and more) of living here without any of the diversity(aka crime and illegals sucking up our hard earned tax dollars), assholes, ultra high taxes, shitty weather, and traffic of the the DMV.

The only thing this area has going for it is jobs(which are very difficult to get, and your paycheck will all go towards the commute, cost of rent/mortgage, and taxes)

I can't wait until I move to a place like Texas, Pennsylvania, or the Midwest where all the negatives in this area are nonexistent or in much lower quantities.

The game is to retire with the highest salary as you can and maximize your retirement pay. If you have a brain, make plenty of personal investments
along the way and get out of here as soon as you can.

There is no good point to living here. I'm out of here soon, as well...It was a nice place in the 1970's thru mid'80's. Once the Fairfax County building boom started, it was all over.

That's really more of a spelling error/lack of proof-read mistake. You'd think the grammar nazi would know the difference between spelling and grammar.

You are putting spaces after a word and before your punctuation. That isn't correct. You write "they didn't hire you !". You should write "they didn't hire you!". Same thing applies to the sentence with the question mark at the end.

Also, the comma in your last sentence isn't correct. If you're going to correct "grammar" you better come correct, son.
