I wonder if any of the extra money paid will actually go to the school and not the county to be wasted on bullshit.

Well, cross your fingers and pray to Satan.
Hail Satan!

Wow. The total adds up nicely to about what a high end home school curriculum costs.

Rob and Julia Nalle of Palmyra, VA, sell a homeschool curriculum called Biblioplan. It is not everything, just history and a little literature. It runs about $200 per year.

And, it is heavily evangelical. It might need some serious adjustment if you don't believe the earth is 4,000 years old and stuff like that.

Homeschool curricula are almost as much of a scam as the FCPS consultants. Also, many of them cater to the religious right.

The Nalles are honest about their religious perspective. Before going into homeschooling, they had a construction company that folded.

This really should come as no surprise considering how much the school board and the BoD have been talking about how much of a broke ass county we are.

Funny thing is I didn't see anything about raising or introducing ESL instruction fees. Seems that's where most of the gap is coming from these days.

you can't charge to teach English. If you could, that would be a windfall, for sure. The fees are only allowed for certain things. state law.
