Rope Swing

Anyone know where there are rope swings around here? Mainly ones that go into deep water like the Potomac or Occoquan?

Seems like a fun thing to do in the summer.

The Potomac has a couple under the overlooks on GW Parkway. You have to go around some fences to get to them. Hike along the Heritage trail and you'll find them.

There used to be one at Burling Track down by the Potomac. Of course that was in 1979.

At Sandy Run, near Hampton Rd. To the left On Sandy Run coming from Rt 123 on the left bank.

It was awesome in the summer of 1970
