Back in the early 2000s Annandale HS was praised for being one of the most diverse in America, with a basically equal amount of each race (25% White, 25% Asian, etc). Now a meteoric rise of the Latino population in Annandale has made it one of the most Latino filled schools in FCPS. The Asian and White population is decreasing and Latinos are moving in rapidly. All along Americana and Heritage drive the Latino population has imploded.
Annandale is no longer diverse people, its Latino central.

About the only negative of Hispanics is they don't speak English. That will change in one generation. Unlike blacks they don't burn down neighborhoods and gang rape in shopping centers.

Koreans can achieve upper class in two generation without affirmative action. Latinos take at least 3 generations. Blacks can't do it in 7 generations and counting.

Hispanics come with problems too. Look at 7-11 on Hummer and Little River homeless day laborers. Also did I forget to mention gangs, litter everywhere, and the fact that they letting their kids run wild.

You can't judge it based solely on the population at Annandale High School. Starting around 2010 the boundaries were changed, shifting a number of neighborhoods to Falls Church, Edison, Lake Braddock and Woodson. Most of the low income apartment complexes though remained in Annandale though, so the demographics changed significantly.
