I wasn't around here when this happened, but I just read the article in the Washingtonian http://www.washingtonian.com/articles/people/11712.html and I'm not all that convinced of this guy's innocence. I'd love to see all the evidence they had....

"But in a 2005 affidavit, Barber said that he had testified falsely and that Wolfe was not involved in Petrole's murder. A former cellmate of Barber's at a Virginia state prison also swore in an affidavit that Barber had told him the same thing. In 2006, however, Barber changed his story again and said he had testified truthfully at trial, yesterday's decision said."

I don't know how critical Barber's testimony is to the prosecution's overall case, but right now it's got reasonable doubt written all over it.
