This was a great response. I hear people talk about their exciting lives all the time but anytime I call them, they are watching netflix.

I moved to Fairfax because I LOVE strip malls. I just can't get enough of them and in Fairfax, I am in heaven!!!!!!

I hope you are very happy there. Just don't expect that you will be living a life free from illegals, liberals and suburbanization for long. With jobs moving out to Loudoun, Prince William and western Fairfax County you are seeing more people move even further out, including a growing number of (gasp) liberals and illegals. And while they may bitch about them, most of the new residents are not really prepared to give up on the big box stores, the strip malls and the office parks that were so conveniently nearby when they were in Fairfax.

My jeep guy is in Winchester, solid work at half the rate. I don't drive all the way there for oil changes but upgrading my suspension and bolting on mods, you bet.
