Farmer's Market in and around Fair Oaks Mall

Hello

I am new to this area and not much showed up on my research other than govt. center parking lot on sunday's, so it would be helpful if someone can tell me the available Farmer's Market in this area...

Oakton has one on Wednesdays until noon at Oak Marr Rec center parking lot. Saturday's in downtown Fairfax near the courthouse. I think Vienna has one. Should be a website that lists them. I think I saw it on Fairfax Patch website. Did they do away with the Tuesday farmers market in Fairfax off Old Lee Hwy at Van Dyke park? I don't see it listed anymore.

If only there was some way to search the web for, say, "farmers markets fairfax county". Naw, that'd never work...

I've always thought so, too; I have not been there (yet) but a friend says the Falls Church one is better. Depends on your definition of "in the area", of course!

And "better" can be relative--I always found the Oak Marr one to be surprisingly good for its size, but that might just be because it happened to have things that I liked.

Oh, not sure who runs it, but there's one on Centreville Rd at the Catholic Church on Thursday afternoons (north of 50, south of Franklin Farm Rd., across from Franklin Middle). It's small but not bad for its size.
