Isn't this information on the ticket? Why are you asking us?
It;s not so much the fine, it's the processing fee. -
Drinking While Driving
Statute: 18.2-323.1
Fine: $35
Processing Fee: $72 if offense date is prior to July 01, 2007
Processing Fee: $372 if offense date is on or after July 01, 2007
Total: $107 if offense date prior to 7/1/07 or $407 if offense date is on or after 7/1/07
If you appear in court rather than pre-paying, the fine will be determined by the Judge. If you have a good driving record (i.e. +5) the Judge may consider assessing a lower fine or suspending your fine in its entirety. The maximum is $250 plus court costs.
