I used to ride all the time from Virginia to Maryland back to Virginia the end of one line back to the other with no problems. I would never dream of doing that now. When did it all go downhill?

Metro went broke paying nogs $160K a year to stand around stations and take naps in kiosks. Instead of reinvesting in equipment, they gave it all to the nogs who work there.

The Metro trains and buses are operated by typical government-style workers.

I grew up in America, not France or China.

Also, Metro has the best people on board, guaranteeing you free of crime and accident-causers.

I would say the decline hit in the 1990s, before they even opened the Springfield station. It was probably tied initially to the budget problems DC was having. The decline started picking up speed though when Metro supposedly started trying to fix things, and realized that it could use that fix up as an excuse for declining qualities of service.

What does Springfield have to do with this? Another out of town hater here? Too many people from the boondocks of VA in this board. Metro has been in the DC area much further back. Problem is when racism started to take place on Metro's hiring. Google metro hires only black workers. They need to diversify more.

It is true that the nig-nogs have ruined Metro the way they ruin everything else. The team of highly specialized engineers that designed and built Metro were white, because, quite obviously, nig-nogs are utterly incapable of such sophisticated thinking. But, and this has already been observed, nig-nogs are perfectly capable of napping in the kiosks and being rude, surly and inattentive to the customers. Blacks ruin everything they touch.
