Spandex and Biker Pants New Fashion in FFX county?

Today I was over at home depot and just about every women or girl there was wearing working spandex pants. I'm not complaining, the scenery was awesome, but it just seems like an odd fashion that has popped up all the sudden?

This has been the "fasion" for years.

The Spandex on cyclists works the same way as Speedos on swimmer - it cuts the drag and enhances speed.

Most of these cyclists are in training for the Triathlon

Well the ladies don't turn my head, but the men .......

On the weekends, they meet at the Hunters Woods Safeway parking lot in Reston. There are usually about 50. All are in training for the Reston Triathlon

The Reston Triathlon is a huge event. It was reported that 600 athletes registered for last year's event.
