university mall construction

Does anyone know when the Giant will get remodeled? or did it get scrapped? I haven't seen any activity lately

Years of construction dust and debris... for a new facade. University Mall = Failure.

That's what shopping center construction is all about.

University Mall broke ground in 2012, but was slightly delayed for a year because of environmental/weather issues. The Giant, while nobody knows when it will start, is coming. I have the link to the rendering (http://jcaarchitects.net/grocery/universitymalldc.html). The store was originally planned to be two stories, but Giant cancelled it as it was too expensive.
