What Drugs are on the scene?

I'm a concerned mother. I want to know what the drug scene is like nowadays in this county. I know it used to be weed and alcohol, but what drugs are popular out there today? I've been hearing about tragedies, and I want to know specifics. J

Research Chemicals (fake lsd) "molly" (bath salts) weed and brew of course painkillers adhd meds stuff like that. Just get your kid tested every now and then probably for the best

There are many drugs of concern which are widely available today.

First and foremost, the most recent drug to hit the scene is Opium Lettuce. Lactuca virosa, cultivated by drug crazed teens who have now introduced it to "California, Alabama, Iowa, and Washington, DC, and grows wild in other parts of the continent.[3]".

It is very inconspicuous, as it looks very similar to dandelion. Could your teen be growing it in your very own backyard?

Since I've worked in a national pharmacy chain for over 3 years, I can tell you quite simply, that in Fairfax county, prescription drug abuse is the biggest epidemic. I would say that roughly 90 percent of the prescriptions we fill are one of 3 drug families: opiates, amphetamines, and benzodiazapines...all highly addictive narcotics. Number one is amphetamines in the form for adderall, ritalin, concerta..number two is opiates: oxycodone, vicodin, codeine, etc. and three is benzos: klonopin, xanax, valium, etc...doctors hand this shit out like m&m's meanwhile a relatively harmless and non-physically addictive drugs like (marijuana) are punished harshly. You want your kids on narcotics, or good drugs like weed? You be the judge. Pharmaceutical companies buy the doctors btw...ever wonder why they all use viagra pens and say you have ADHD?
