Seems like a very quick to arrest case, where is the proof? No Grand Jury?
And Washington Post says he hurt himself? Seatbelts in a paddy wagon??

What is the truth?

We shall see. But we won't burn and loot meanwhile.

Lulz they are only doing this so the nigs can celebrate. The case will be dragged out for a couple years, and the nogs will have forgotten by then.

1) Freddie Gray was arrested for having a switch-blade, but it was actually a pocket knife. In other words, his arrest should never have happened in the first place.

2) He was placed into a police vehicle without being strapped in, and given a "rough ride" Forensics show that's what gave him his eventually life ending injuries.

3) The driver ignored his pleas for help twice.

This is pretty open-and-shut. Given that six cops were involved, I bet most of them plead out, and cooperate to implicate each other.

The false arrest charge is pretty damning. It goes beyond a 'mistake' and implements them on motive for their interaction with Gray. Without that defense would have had a lower bar in a bid to elevate the circumstantial nature of the injuries. But the 'why' of the arrest implicates motive other than law enforcement. In their petulance they did a sloppy job of setting up (lying about) the arrest and subsequent injuries to Gray. They thought he was disposable.

Say what you will of the victim, its irrelavent. He died while in custody in a false arrest. This is about the Constitution not just Gray

Why don't we just wait until the grand jury hears all the evidence and then we'll have a better idea. Until then, quit pretending like you know what happened.
Didn't you people learn anything from the Ferguson "Hands Up" lie?

One thing I learned is that Grand Juries decide whether or not to bring charges - we are past that point with Baltimore and Gray. They have been charged and will go through the trial process. No Grand Jury.

They are, of course, presumed innocent. The charges were made because the State's Attorney deemed there was enough evidence to charge them with a crime(s). I doubt any cop, in general, wakes up and sets out to go kill someone. That is not the point here. The point here and in many cases is if and how the police's considerable power(s) were used and/or misused.

Only one of the cops was charged with murder; the driver who heard pleas for help, and did nothing. He made a purposeful choice to not assist the man they had in custody, and as a result, that's murder 2.

The others have been charged with manslaughter, which essentially means they didn't intend to kill Gray, but as a result of their actions, it happened.

Aside from the fact that those cops might not be deserving of prayers, the whole notion of praying is ridiculous. Praying, and believing in the "power of prayer" is for delusional, superstitious people with limited brainpower. There is no god. Prayers are a signal of lack of intellectual capacity.

Innocent? No.

They may not be found guilty of crimes in Freddie Gray's death, but they are far from innocent.

Whether or not they serve time, they will ultimately face God's judgment.

Cops in Baltimore. Is that the best they could do? That city must run through cops like shit through a goose. I doubt you have to be very qualified to get a job there.

I don't believe that's accurate. The Baltimore Sun sure doesn't think so:
http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/crime/blog/bs-md-ci-what-is-next-for-officers-20150501-story.html says, in part:

The next steps in the case:
•A city grand jury will consider the charges and decide whether to indict.

That makes more sense to me: the DA decides whether it's worth trying to charge, then a grand jury provides some checks/balances on that.

I pray that their procedural rights in the criminal justice process are respected. I pray that they have an impartial jury that will make its decision based on the evidence, and not on passion or prejudice. I pray that if they actually are innocent, that they be found innocent and are restored to their former place in society. I pray that if they are found guilty, that they are only found guilty of the crimes they committed, and that they receive a sentence appropriate for those crimes. Finally I pray that their families as well as the family of the victim be given the strength they need to deal with the ordeal they are going through.

In short I pray that they be treated with the same amount of respect as any other person should receive if confronted with the same evidence. Do you seriously believe there would not be equally serious charges if the defendants were ghetto thugs rather than police officers?

Which of the charges are on the 3 nigger cops? My guess is the 3 nogs got the lesser charges.

I suspect Freddie was arrested out of revenge. The guy had been arrested 22 times so the cops obviously were familiar with him. They probably hauled him in and a Judge let him go so the cops were probably tired of the revolving door.

I guess that leaves me confused - I thought the State's Attorney skipped the grand jury process. I dont know enough about the law to say for certain but I thought the Grand Jury was used do decide whether or not to charge. they have been charged. Chicago Tribune seems to agree with that - "Mosby bypassed a grand jury, declaring unflinchingly that she had found probable cause to file the charges herself. "

If he was so "innocent" why would he run? If he wouldn't have ran then none of this would have happened
