Woodson is in growth mode because of the Annandale HS and Fairfax HS boundary adjustments made in the last three years. Class of 2014 was about 525, class of 2018 is 650.

Mount Vernon/West Potomac/Edison/Lee has so many illegal students that there is no more room for the citizens children of the U.S. much less Fairfax County. The office workers are over worked and the administrators have little energy to help the students that want to learn. The illegal kids are here for only the free stuff and the "parent" only wants money for the kid. These kids don't go to class but run in gangs. They are destroying our school. All these schools are hiring are ESOL. Time for change.

But why does FHS only have 2 ??

I know for a fact that the reason is a combination of: retirement; growth in school population therefore needing more teachers; new HS start times impacting decisions by teachers to get a job closer to their homes; teachers leaving for Arlington County where the pay is substantially higher ($10K+); and having to deal with all the difficult parents who send their kids to Woodson (not all, but many). As for Fairfax needing only 2, most of the Woodson population growth is due to the boundary adjustment made two years ago moving Fairfax/Lanier kids to Woodson. Less growth at FHS and more at Woodson.

Thanks to your god Obama, there is a surge of illegal children to the DC area that will pick up again every summer as long as there is a fucking Democrat or a Bush in the White House.
