Washingtonpost.com and Chrome

In Herndon using Verizon Fios and Google Chrome I have been having constant problems for about three or four months now with the Washingtonpost.com website. I'll click on a story, be halfway through reading it, and it will freeze. I can't scroll up or down and can't click out of the page.

If I sit and wait I get one of those Google Page Unresponsive notices and an offer to kill the page or wait. Maybe a second after this notice appears the page will start working again. If I start the task manager a second or two after it starts the page will start working again.

I've cleared my cache, run a virus scan, nothing helps. Any ideas please?

The post crams more ads into their site than nbc4. Crappy JS and what not. If you got some debugger plugins they would probably light up like a christmas tree

i just upgraded my browser not too far back because google maps and youtube were not working (mostly for maps and job sites that worked but hardly)

ALREADY - YOUTUBE is broken again

the foreign mother fuckers break shit on purpose. and microsoft helps them. i could prove it all it day, easily.

they also submit "tickets" to "fix" american software using usa grant money. but read between the lines it's a request to acess a part of code and break something specific: which later becomes a problem. the fixes are usually to fix things that aren't broken, and their fixes often are to break or make insecure - and a careful eye knows exactly what they are requesting to break and what will be the future "www.stackoverflow.com" probelms (ps don't use that site: run by fucking foreigners who lie about problems and fixes offer wrong solutions: AND DELETE THE RIGHT ONES. EVER LAST TIME).

i don't know who keeps "signing" these fixes. but doesn't matter: obama.gov pays shitloads of money to break and damage anything USA anyway.

Adblocker.

When I go to the washpo page it blocks like 15-20 ads every time.

I'm having the same problem both on my MacBook Pro running Chrome, as well as on my HTC One phone running Chrome. Both Chrome versions are up to date.
