This attitude is what makes people mad. You don't own Clifton. Get off your high horse.

I have been a resident of Clifton for 11 years & I am so tired of watching trees get torn down & the increasing amount of traffic in this area. Trying to get to & from work is impossible already. Drunk drivers, construction, more traffic on roads that have not even been maintained & are full of pot holes, & possible water issues.. Does the word historic mean anything anymore?

"Historic" and Clifton shouldn't be used in the same paragraph. Clifton is nothing more than a bunch of old farm house that are decaying. As the trees? Would you rather see a strip mall or low income housing development on that land than craft brewery.

A craft brewery is the best use of that land and excellent fit for Clifton.

The only thing historic is your wife's pussy. That thing should be mothballed.
Now quit your fucking whining and pickup those empthy Mickey's Bigmouth bottles I threw in your yard last night. Don't step in the pile of shit I left next to your front steps.

When the defendant purposely or recklessly distributed false information about the plaintiff with the intent to harm the person's (or business's) reputation.

The Virginia code does not specify how much of what goes into the beer has to be grown onsite. He could buy all his hops from a farm located elsewhere and throw in a few weeds from his yard and be legal. The VA Code really needs to be rewritten to specify what constitutes a "farm".

Keep in mind there are very few 'farm breweries' in VA. There are a ton of breweries. Those commenting need to keep this in mind. I think there would more support if this was a brewery in town versus a brewery located in a residential rural area with access issues.

fantastic news. Thanks for posting. Love the fact that the winery grounds and brewery will be located next to each other. Excellent location.

Wish I had one the houses nearby and could simply walk over to the brewery. Now that would be super cool!

Clifton is just a steaming pile of freshly squeezed out dog shit. A brewery would be an improvement.

The brewery is dead; moving away from this location. I hope every Volvo-driving whore who was whining about this brewery chokes to death on her gardener's dick. Enjoy the tract mansions that will inevitably arrive on this dirt, you spoiled bitches.

Jokes on you... hopefully an out of town developer comes in, who doesn't care about the community, and puts a brewery/distillery/winery on the site after destroying the 68% of the land Silva & Co were going to preserve.

Morons.. be careful what you wish for.

Really? You are so worried that a brewery that hosts a wedding reception will have folks driving drunk?? There are wedding receptions in and around the Clifton area every weekend and I'm sure there are drunks who leave there, like any other event where there is alcohol served. And your comment about the "folks from prince william county" could not have been more rude! You implication is that the folks from PW county are somehow "less" than you snooty folks in Clifton! I've got news for you,all of us that live in PW county have supported the Clifton area for years and this will just make it better! Love Paradise Springs and I don't hear any bitching about the drunks that leave there and don't know the roads...people will drink and drive(NOT that they should) no matter where they are. This brewery will be a boom to the economy in many ways and my husband (who is a home brewer) and I will definitely visit the brewery even if we have to come to the "hallowed" grounds of Clifton! Lighten up people!

So sad that Clifton won't have the pleasure of your company. Their loss, no doubt.

Why did they want to put a craft brewery in Clifton to start with. That area is just a bunch of crusty gray haired old people.

Great Falls is the place for a nice Craft Brewery; rich yupiies with money to burn. They would kill for a craft brewery in Great Falls.

Great Falls has all been the eclitic food and fine dining area of Fairfax county.
