OK, PROBABLY a scam. But, you can call the police in that area and see if they really do have a warrant. I had this happen with a police officer and a former client of mine faking that I had a warrant in Leesburg or Loudon County. I just called and asked if there was a warrant.
In my case, there was no warrant, but I was told the calls come from random numbers because the officers block their caller-ID. But I Googled the PD they claimed I had the warrant in and called them directly, not the weird number from the person who called me.
