$50 news contribution contest!

NewsPebbles is sponsoring a DC, Maryland and Virginia news posting contest with a $50 prize to the winner! We want to encourage DC Metro area contributors to report interesting, high-impact news, and encourage everyone to read and vote on NewsPebbles submissions, so the winner will be the author of the pebble that has the highest vote total (# upvotes) at the end of the contest.

The pebble entry time for this contest will be from March 15, 2015 to Mar 31, 2015. The contest ends at 9 AM Eastern time on April 1st. Depending on the number and quality of pebbles submitted for the contest, NewsPebbles may award one or more $15 Honorable Mention prizes at the end of the contest.

are you kidding ? our local and national news plays stories about poor california reporters who are killed if they "get too close to a political truth"

news in this area isn't going to pay you for news. all gov run it's worse than any news in russia ever was
