I just overheard the principal and an admin. They have already received an email from gatehouse saying FCPS schools will be closed tomorrow.

FCPS will wait until 5am to make the official announcement. They don't want to have the same problem they had will the ice\snow storm before.

Both legs? I think breaking a students legs goes against FCPS policy.

A message from FAIRFAX COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS




At this time, we anticipate an on-time start for school tomorrow. However, the National Weather Service is forecasting the likelihood of a wintry mix of precipitation in our area which could impact travel tomorrow morning. If we get even a hint of snow we will cancel and it will give us the one more day we need to get a waiver and start school in mid August. We've been trying to get this for years and it just may finally happen.

Please monitor the FCPS website and Facebook and Twitter accounts, plus local media, and expect to receive a Keep in Touch message should we need to cancel classes or start school two hours late.

Any decision would be communicated to you by 5 a.m.

I have no reason not to believe you but how did you hear them? What did they say exactly or close to exactly?

A two hour delay seems highly likely, so don't worry fags, school probably won't close tomorrow and the worst case scenario is a two hour delay.
