Orthodontists in FFX

The time has come for my kid(s) to get braces. Any suggestions/experiences to share
? We are covered so we will only get half-screwed but since we will be paying out $$$ Id like a place with a good rep. Yelp is all over the place locally. We live in the Burke/Annandale area.

Good guy. A Mason grad (a looong time ago). My teeth turned out great. A bit of a drive from Burke probably.

Get second and third opinions. First consults are generally free so you won't be out any cash. Dr. R in Burke is overpriced. Research his practice before choosing him. There are plenty of options out there. Closest to home isn't always the best.

Three of my kids had Dr. Elhady (offices in Burke and Fairfax), and whenever I was in there I saw neighbors/school friends. Practice is very organized and Dr. Elhady very personable. Never heard a single complaint from anyone I knew who had kids who went there. One of my other kids had Dr. Stern (Burke) and didn't have a very favorable experience (although, to be fair, her teeth turned out fine), so we didn't use him for our others.
