I signed it. Shucks, the petition has a point. Whether you love or hate Obama, do you really want Congress to freely undermine the president of your choice once he or she is in office?

200,000? Wait until over 150,000,000 legit people sign it and not duplicates, made up names, illegals or dead people. Then perhaps you can start demanding justice.

Go ahead and get them for treason, as long as you get every single one of those corrupt globalist totalitarians that have been using the Constitution as their own personal toilets for a century (except for Justin Amash and Rand Paul, they're all right).

Oh, and learn to spell, OP.

Only an idiot and an imbecile would equate the two situations. You fill the bill quite well.

You're right. What she and her other Democratic travel partners did was far worse than just writing a letter.

Please sign the petition only if you are upset at the wind and its' direction. This will ensure that the wind gets the message not to push the envelope and do something completely legal and consitutional, like writing a public letter to a foreign state to remind them of how our government works.

Sign and then please, HOWL into the Wind in unison ... should do some good, I think.

The President has to get the consent of the Senate on all Treaties. The Liar in Chief intimated that he was going to sign an agreement without the Senate's involvement. So the Senate trumped Obama. Again. I hope the Senate keeps it up. The only treason going on is in the Democrat Party.

Idiotic. 1. The Logan Act was superseded by the 1st and 5th Amendments and has never been used. 2. The Logan Act says a ordinary citizen cannot act as an agent of the US Government. The Congress is a co-equal branch of the US Government. 3. The Logan Act was written to stop state legislations from making deals with foreign governments, not Congress. 4. Under the Constitution, the Executive proposes treaties and the Senate ratifies them.

Can't believe how many morons jumped on this bandwagon.

And, by the way, its "treason" not "treasin;" "who" not "whom." What law? At least get your spelling, grammar and shit together before you start going on about signing things.

Actually, state legislators can write as many public letters as the wish to Iran .. they would waste their time however since the issue is a Federal and International one.

Also, it was intended to keep "private citizens" (ordinary citizen) from PRIVATELY trying to railroad international agreements toward the detriment of the US.
Either way the Senators who sent the letter are not in any hot water. -- It all seems like a big distraction to me .. there are other things to worry about.

At a time when the United States government is attempting to reach a potential nuclear agreement with the Iranian government, 47 Senators saw fit to instead issue a condescending letter to the Iranian government stating that any agreement brokered by our President would not be upheld once the president leaves office.

This is a clear violation of federal law. In attempting to undermine our own nation, these 47 senators

dumb ass. the Consition does not outlaw disparaging remarks or emails on the presidents actions or on congress's future actions.

and officially Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons - so what treaty is there for Obama to have signed ? and what did USA "give up to muslims" in the deal ?

it is certainly "dirty pool". but democrats are not presently know for playing a clean game. none of them are.

why Iran would trust anything obama signed and participate - that's a a whole another topic - and i'm sure they don't

#1) the Logan act is plaguerism and tries to limit the Constitution

the Constitution stands AS WRITTEN - logan is a fool for thinging
his 'act' overrides the constitution by describing it in his own
limiting manner which he favored.

#2) letters and publishing are not foreign agreements

President George Washington was paranoid ("be wary of foreign entanglements") of congress dealing with foreign countries outside the confines of the public record , and there was (is) a law agaist them making military agreements or "gove to gov treaties" (promising each other power and money).

a) possible treason against the usa military

b) the usual - undermining the USA taxpayer - treason for cash

the above was obviously not outside the confines of public record and made no agreement. it on disparaged one.

no one said congress must agree with the president. much the opposite - they may vote 3/4 to override any agreement he made

AND FLATLY, OBVIOUSLY, THEY WOULD COMMUNICATE WITH OTHERS AND AMONGST THEMSELVES DURING THAT PROCESS - the process of competing interest - which each stanza of the constitution address - the dividing line between two competing interest

(usu. private v. public law is the dividing line - interest of joe schmo v. interest of rich gov worker)

i'm telling you now so you can't say you never heard it before.

the USA tells the american public about a foreign states's nuclear ambitions 15 years after it began - about a few month before the yellow ribbon is cut

if iran has more ambitions than the (13+) power plants they built already

you will know about a few months before they cut the yellow ribbon on it

in the last article you claimed Republicans would be hung for treason

this article , you claim democrats will be

how about let's hang you for advertising the emails are the same as foreign treaties while not getting either side of the story straight ?
