Open letter to the prick that called code compliance
Posted by: Home Owner ()

Dear Prick,

Just because you are now moving to Florida and selling your house you want to call the Co. on us. We never complained about all of your loud music and parties. Your renters. If you don't like the way I park or the number of cars I have.. Too bad. They are all legal and paid for. You want me to paint My house? It's snowing. You don't like to look at My trash cans? Everyone has them in plain site.
I hope your stay in Florida sucks. They have no fresh water. They are over run with rats. The health care sucks.
We all know it was you so FU

Your Ex-Neighbor

Boy scouts? I'm too busy knocking the bottom out of your wife. Ever since she's started fucking me, she said she's asked you to give her 8 inches and make it hurt so, you've been given her your 4" twice and hitting her on the head with a brick...

Eh, your neighbor is trying to sell his house and you are making that difficult to do with your trash and unkempt home. It is impolite to make your house an eyesore. If you want this guy to leave and be out of your hair forever - Clean Up.

The county will not force you to paint your house. If you are in an HOA then the HOA might.

The Code is the minimal safe standards. If your house has code volunteers you should take care of them. Consider the inspection a free service to protect your safety.

I wonder if I know that guy. I casually know someone moving to Florida and he's kind of a douche. Seems like something he would do. I'd kill to know.

people started getting legally threatened with "dog walking compliance" in my neighborhood

previously the neigborhood just let dogs run around without leashes - %99 of days no problem - a few dog fights to break up or a dog that could be let out

a lawyer moved in the neighborhood - who was employed by fx co gov

all of the sudden people were getting threats from gov they had to obey leash laws and pick up poop with their hands if necessary

infact my sister - who wanted me dead for money - set me up. kept letting the dog out to ravage the trash cans (as we all knew that dog did)

police came to my house woke me up and accused me of being responsibe. AT GUNPOINT FORCED ME TO COURT - and insisted i pay a fine

-----------------------------
that reminds me. why did my dad keep grabbing the steering while when i was driving when i only would have caused an accident - only when no one else was in the car ?

this is one of those questions few ask and less get answered

Sharon Bulova is looking for things to cut in the county budget. Tell her to start with code compliance, hint hint it might help her chances of re-election.

Why would a guy that is in the process of selling house, coordinating moving his stuff/family to another state as well as adjusting to a job transfer (or new job in a new state) have time to worry about your stupid trash bins and bad paint?

Unless your house is pretty horrible to the point that it is depressing home values you can about bet that your trash bins aren't even on his register. 10 to 1 someone who is *staying* in the neighborhood and has an issue with you has called code enforcement on you not this guy who is on his way to the Sunshine state...

i told the cop: i'm not the homeowner. i didn't let the dog out. he insisted to come in and force me to sign a ticket - and was heavily armed

had dickhead not been armed i'd have kicked his ass and called the judge and told him to fuck off as well

force you way into a home with death threats and force uninvolved people to go to court ?

yea - fuck off bull-o-va gov and democrats

Has the guy moving to Florida sold the house yet? If not, call Code Compliance on him. Maybe they will find something and it will screw up the sale.

Wouldn't it be easier just to get in compliance and let it go?

We've been called on and we took care of things and moved on.

Life is too short to stay wrapped up in petty BS.

Well, for most people. Some thrive on it.. and their lives will probably be shorter because of the stress they hold on to.

Yes we are working on getting in compliance. It just sucks that some prick who wants to move because he owes more than his house is worth wants to increase his value of his house by f'in with the people that have lived with in their means.

It could very well be a real estate agent fast-tracking a complaint to code enforcement, and running interference, on behalf of the seller of the house.

Quite stealthy.

What? If your property looks like a dump then I dont blame him. If we're talking about just a trash can and peeling paint, he has another agenda.

Usually the people who have lived within their means have also taken care of their house. It makes no sense to cut coupons and scrimp and save only to let your biggest asset (your house) go to pot.

I still say trying to figure out their real motive in calling code compliance is a waste of your time. If they had the class to be up front and respectfully request that you make changes before calling it would be a different story.

Don't let someone who's not worth it steal another second of your time. Don't give them that kind of power over you. Good for you for getting in compliance and moving on.

As my grandma always said "Don't worry about what I'm doing. Worry about why YOU'RE worried about what I'M doing."

Your ex-neighbor may never get that. Unhappy people generally don't.

Are you sure it is this neighbor who called? The only reason that I can think of for him to do that would be if the unkempt state of your house is making it difficult for him to sell his house. If he has to take less money for his house because you are a slob that isn't fair.

OP sounds like a real piece of work - not the kind of guy you want to approach about the condition of his house. And really, how do you do that tactfully?

Seller: "Hi, neighbor! Been a while. Anyway, we're planning on selling our house and we couldn't help but notice that you have a few issues with code compliance. I hate to ask, but would you mind taking care of those?"

OP: "Fuck you! I'm not cleaning up my place just so you can get a better price."

Yeah, I am a piece of work. If he came here and knocked on my door to tell me he didn't like looking at my trash cans or I need to paint my house. I would of thought "What A Prick" and slammed the door. No one likes a nosy neighbor or a tattle tell. It's not just me that got turned in but 1/3 of the people on My street. Some people need to get a life and stay out of mine.

I know for a fact that he has called code compliance before on our neighbors. Now that he is about to sell his house he has more of a motive. I'm 90% sure it is him.

And it could have been some sort of county task force issuing a report. Bottom line is you don't know who reported you if someone even did. Maybe this neighbor had nothing to do with any of this.

Luckily your own issues are no big deal. Putting your trash receptacles out of sight takes about 5 minutes.

Seriously? Who cares who called? Don't listen to the trolls who stir the pot, listen to the reasonable few.

Stupid little people with no lives so they spend their time spying on their neighbors and trying to bring them down are the kind of people who don't have the guts to face neighbors and ask them to fix some stupid little issue so they chicken out and call the county to do what they don't have the guts or class to do. Just sit back and give them time and they'll give themselves an ulcer while you're enjoying life.

Let the nut job who called on you wallow in their own crap. Don't give a crap of your own. Geeeessshhhhh already. NEXTTTTTTT!
