Too many marathons in Reston

Seriously, there must be between 5 and 8 of these damn things a year(if you include triathlons as well). Sure, they hold them early on Sunday mornings to limit the disruption, but it's still a large window of time, especially if you include set up and clean up, where it's difficult to get anywhere.

Surely the resident who pay to live in an area should have some say into how many times a year they are willing to wait 15 minutes for a break in the string of runners in order to turn out of their neighborhood.

Fuck off, fatass. It's not my problem you woke up early and ate all the donuts. Your Costco run is gonna have to wait until people who can walk farther than half a block without getting winded are done being fit.

Go kick a senior citizen off a scooter at Wal-Mart and get your sugar fix, hamplanet. If you leave now you might make it before all the Tagalongs are gone!

Hey Fat Ass- the set up and clean up of these events should not have you waiting in traffic as the event is over -these are charity events and they happen all over [not just in Reston ] give yourself an extra 10 minutes on those 6 times a year they take place and you will be fine -the Dunkin Donuts will still be there

OP is right on.

Last Sunday morning, with freezing rain falling, it was hard to get around and finish shopping and other errands before the roads became really dangerous.

Too damn many road races/triatholons in South Reston.
