McKeever’s Pub to close forever

McKeever’s Pub has been open since the 70s. Now it will be torn down to make way for a Dunkin donuts and a mattress store. They are having one last st. paddy day blow out party.

sucks.

Was in there on a Friday night a couple weeks ago. Walked in at 6:30 on a Friday evening - plenty of open tables and seats at the bar - and it's not a big place. Zero foot traffic there and you need to know it's there to even find it. But the frilly little restaurant next door was packed.

Sad - it's an institution.
