As for credible sources? Well, Mia Hamm sat next to me in Calculus and I once knocked the bottom out of her at a field party in Clifton. Hubert Davis lived across the street from me and buried better than 80% of my assists from beyond the arcs on basketball courts all over NOVA.

Fairfax is just one of those places where everyone talks about how great they are, meaning they are all average.

Some kids from the private schools go on to be famous, but they don't dwell on their Fairfax roots.
