Brett Trapp - Boosterthon Executive
Posted by: Men of Sparta ()

Brett Trapp took five years to get a degree in English. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega, and remains heavily involved in that organization, even though it has been banned from several schools.

Trapp has not done anything since leaving school except work for Boosterthon.

What else do you need to know about Brett Trapp? Well, you could watch this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18eaNSxhK5c

This is his mindset.

Boosterthon, for those who do not know, is a secretive fundraising organization for schools. It is nothing if not controversial. It is the subject of many complaints, but, since the PTA/PTO officials who sign off on the Boosterthon contracts get free trips to Atlanta, they seem not to care.

Do you want the likes of Brett Trapp anywhere near your children? If you do, fine, glad you enjoyed the video. If not, complain, and complain LOUDLY to your local school board.

Brett Trapp would probably like to start the Boosterthon fun run with a rousing chorus of Louie Louie.

Is Brett Trapp going to be a shill for Boosterthon forever? That's as good as it gets after taking 5 years to get a degree in English and a heavy involvement with the management of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity? Isn't wooing PTA/PTO soccer moms in Atlanta going to be a little old when he's 40, to say nothing of 50?

Sounds like a sweet gig to me. Fly them to Atlanta and they are more likely to put out due to being away from home and spouse. They will also feel obligated to their host and more willing to give sexual favors in exchange for the free trip. Why would it get old?

How many of these PTA/PTO moms would be worth doing?

Too bad Boosterthon doesn't have some pitch for college freshmen, that might be looking into. But Fairfax soccer moms?

But given that Brett Trapp is so fixated on fraternities, he might just be into it, with enough beer, of course.

These trips to Atlanta could not be LEGALLY offered to school employees. Loophole, that's the word we want.

This is an incentive or punishment? Have you been to Atlanta recently? Just like DC except hotter, poorer, and blacker.

If Boosterthon is really committed to doing good, why isn't the local Boosterthon sales rep, Tim Kim, out helping with shoveling, making sure people have what they need and so on during this storm?

Boostertoon is happy to make money off the kids, but all this talk of charity is just part of their hype. Chris Carneal should sell 'Mancave' and Brett Trapp should be a sign waver for Liberty Tax (in his best ATO toga, of course).

Who does Brett Trapp think he is? Boosterthon makes money ONLY because it gets to consume instructional hours. If it had to operate on its own time and using its own facilities, it would not be a viable company.

But Brett Trapp thinks he is Jack Welch or John Harvey-Jones. His credentials consist of a degree in English (took him 5 years to get) and a lot of time spent in, and then managing, the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.

Here he is, acting like he's some kind of expert:
