Does anyone know anything about the news that a body was found on the Parkway at 1AM near Stringfellow Road?

We all already know what happened but have all internally decided to refuse to speak of the incident. We recommend you contact FCPD @ Deputy Chief of Police for Investigations/Operations Support 703-246-2558

+1

If people discussing news that happens in Fairfax County gets your cute little panties in a bunch, don't go on a forum that discusses news that happens in Fairfax County.

It gets really annoying that people expect us to have the inside scoop on every petty crime and stabbing that goes on. We won't have any more information than the police have released, unless one of the people reading this site was an eyewitness, accomplice, or victim.

So why don't you guys tell me what the weather is going to be like in Fairfax County over the next week? I don't feel like checking any official sources for my information, and would rather plan my week based on the rumors of a bunch of anonymous internet assholes.

They're calling for it to get warmer with plenty of sun. It should be up to the mid-eighties by Saturday, but with winds of up to 16mph tomorrow.

You're welcome. Anytime. That's how the people who want to try and get people answers on this forum do it.

+1. Finally someone gets the point of why I have to post that every damn time. The media is already covering the event.

Pgens is only telling the truth... the regulars hold an 8:15AM EST conference call every day to discuss the criminal and traffic goings-on in Fairfax, and how we will handle the discussion of them.

So, don't get angry with him. Maybe, if you were a little bit less of an asshole, you could be included in our daily meetings, and then you would see the serious hard work and deliberation behind those simple statements posted by our Information Officer, pgens.

This is why I miss Bob so much. He was everywhere, and knew everything, at all times, regarding our beloved Fairfax County.

" We won't have any more information than the police have released, unless one of the people reading this site was an eyewitness, accomplice, or victim."

isnt that the point of asking?

I call bullshit on RestonPeace's post. There is NO way that is true!

You know, there's a thread on this forum about tree trimming which I know nothing about and have no advice to offer. So instead of posting a shitty comment about Googling it themselves or getting the Yellow Pages, I just opted NOT TO FUCKING POST ANYTHING! How I managed to summon up the self-control not to do it I don't know, but I managed. Try it.

REStonPeace may have pushed the limits of our NDA by naming me as the CIO of Fairfax Underground, but our conference calls do cover that and other areas. 75% of it is how we can cover up information about "booming sounds" and influence the media on other coverups of national importance, but yes sometimes the detailed reports we receive on matters of county incidents are why we really need to have those annoying daily calls.

I agree...most of the rest of this bullshit is just the regs playing "monkee in the middle" with a newbie.

Mildly entertaining, yes. Informative? umm NO!

I've searched for info on this and have come up with nothing. Nothing on Channel 4's website and nothing on Google when I search for "body" + "Stringfellow" + "Fairfax, VA" + "April 22, 2009". I ask if anyone has anything on this cuz my wife works near there.

And, no, I'm not calling FCPD.

Thanks for any help.

Dunno, ask the poster of the duplicate thread who saw the news clip.

That's worth a shot. Thanks for the advice.

Here goes:

Hey, NOVAborn, any more details from Channel 4 that you can give us. Their website has nothing on it and I'm having no luck with other searches.

Maybe it was your wife. You haven't got any of the other facts correct above. You might want to try giving her a call.
