The black band is for officers killed in the line of duty but the sheriffs cover their badge for everyone, not just local officers killed in the line of duty like most departments. I have gone into booking a couple of times and asked who they are covering their badges for and they didn't know, they just said a memo came out telling them to cover.

I am grateful that she would be willing to stick her neck out to become a target of a DOJ prosecution. With Sanctuary Cities a pet peeve of Jeff Sessions he will be looking to make an example of a high profile official to prosecute for the crimes of an illegal. While it may take some time for a released illegal to return to a life of habitual crime, it will happen and Jeff Sessions will be awaiting to prosecute Kinkaid in a high profile court case in DC.

at best she should follow federal law as she does any law and bring those who break it to court citing the code broken. however: if the fairfax county judges refuse to accept the cases there is nothing she can or should do
i keep telling you it's the hand-picked magistrates and judges in fairfax county that allow the board of supervisors and democrats to rape the county
