Court systems all over the country seem to make an effort to go easier on women. I saw her picture, she looked like a first class dingbat. Chances are it was a "crime of passion" though and she won't re-offend.

Make her forfeit any claims to the estate too for good measure. It would be a real injustice if she get's any money from the house when she gets released.

It's because she's a woman. Women lack the mental capacity to understand their crimes and to understand why it is that they are in trial, so they should not be subject to as strict sentences as men.
